I came across a note of you asking how to get more than 975 points per day, from back in December. By answering the weekly poll, you get an additional 100 points, for a total of 1,075 points.
You can also get up to 1,200 points for contacting friends via email. That credit is only good for once as a GasBuddy, but you get 80 points per friend that you contact, up to a max of 15 friends = 1,200 points. That can be done all in one day, to up the potential total for that day to 2,275 points [1,075 + 1,200].
You can routinely get 30,725 points nearly every day. With a little more planning, you can get 30,825 points on two days, every 2 weeks. Let me explain.
First, the daily points are based on exactly 30 days, to the minute, although the lists [max 30 days, half-year, total] are only updated each hour.
So, to score 30,725 points in 30 days, you need to post, on Day 31, at an earlier time than you posted on Day 1 of the period. That way, the 975 points for the 31st day are counted as part
