Yes, 20 cent gas, a clean windshield and your oil checked with a smile. But I was earning less than $5 per hour so it took almost two hours of pay to fill up the tank, which is actually much like today. You just have to use larger numbers on your tax forms and when buying anything. Warren :D)

WOW! That box cut me off, mid sentence. We have an '06 Audi sedan with a 4 cylinder, 2.0 liter, turbocharged engine. It is fun to drive and can be very quick if needed. Don't tell my wife, but I have had it (her car) up to 140 MPH once a few months back. I have sworn off doing that now and plan to drive very conservatively, he says with a grin. Anyway, I hope that you have a great weekend. Your buddy, Warren :o))

I was driving a 66 VW and got broadsided, it totaled the bug but didn't hurt me. I took the insurance and bought the Charger, they guaranteed that it could do 150 MPH. I proved it many times, even got a ticket that cost me 5 days in San Diego's jail for doing it on the freeway. At 90 MPH you could stomp on it, it would drop into passing gear and slam you back in the seat. It layed rubber in all three gears of the automatic when I burned away from a red light next to a vette for instance. I had 3 drivers licenses because I got so many tickets they were about to revoke mine. It got 7-8 MPG in town, 9 on the hwy at 65 MPH and 10 on the hwy if I kept it around 100 MPH. That was the sweet spot on the torque curve I guess. Gasoline cost $0.339 per gallon but it ran best on Chevron supreme and it pissed me off to have to pay $0.509 for that from their white pump. It was indeed a sweet ride, but I couldn't afford to be doing any of that now. We have an '06 Audi sedan with a 4 cylinde
