If a NYT article is re-posted elsewhere it may be accessible but on the NYT web site itself, a user ID and password is required for access. Clicking on a link to the NYT brings up a screen asking you to enter your ID and pwd or to register if you do not have an ID. This is not a browser setting but a requirement of the NYT.. If you can follow the link in the article referred to, you must have registered at some time.

I have enjoyed listening to and collecting music for some time now...'only thing my cd collection is taking over (a.k.a. outgrowing) my closet presently. My favorite music is from the 60s, 70s & 90s.
